Why does the dose seem higher for rabbits, birds and small pets?

Small pocket pets have different metabolisms from dogs and cats. Many medications are given to these tiny creatures in higher doses because their body will process them faster. This is also the case with supplements. We have formulated our small animal dosing with this in mind.
