There is no concern with the amounts of glycerin in our supplements as it is very small (it differs with each supplement). Our supplements have been used for over 20 years with no reports of any effects due to the glycerin content. We even have supplements for diabetic pets which use glycerin and they are not affected by the very low amount of it. Sugar consumption does not lead to diabetes. A relatively healthy cat will be able to metabolize these sugars. Diabetes is not caused by too much sugar in the blood, it is caused by a deficiency of insulin which metabolizes these sugars. When there is little or no insulin to metabolize the sugar, the sugar remains in the blood, causing high blood sugar.
As I understand, many of NHV products are based on "glycerin" which I know is harmless for pets. But I heard that too much glycerin can increase blood sugar, and cause of diabetes. Can you tell me how much glycerin there is per 100ml bottle?
