Mycoplasma pulmonis is a bacterium present in the upper respiratory tract, and we do have some supplements that would help. Resp-Aid is an anti-inflammatory, antibiotic, and healing formulation that helps with upper respiratory congestion, helps fight infections and relieves shortness of breath. Stimmune is an herbal formula that helps boost the immune system and strengthen the body against infections. Petomega 3: These omega-3 fatty acids may help chronic pulmonary syndromes and also support the immune system. These supplements do work well on their own, but they are also very beneficial to use together as they work synergistically to keep our pets systems functioning well. For the Resp-Aid and Stimmune the dosage for each rat would be 1 to 2 drops each twice daily. For the Pet Omega the dose would be only once daily, at ¼ teaspoon.
