I have a 19-yr. old kitty that has CKD and is on fluids every other day and has a growth in her brain. She also has a bit of arthritis. She also gets bouts of pancreatitis due to the CKD. What would you recommend that might be of assistance to her?

For kidney disease, we recommend Tripsy. It is our main kidney support supplement. It helps to detoxify the kidneys, inhibit infection and soothe any discomfort associated with kidney disease. Along with the Tripsy, for more advanced kidney disease, we recommend the Milk Thistle. The two of these products are available together in a kit. If you’ve noticed some inappetence with her, as is often the case with chronic renal kitties, we would recommend the Yucca. It has soothing properties on the GI tract and helps to stimulate appetite. For arthritis we have a few supplements which can be helpful, but I think in your kitty’s case the Turmeric would be best. It not only will help with joint pain and inflammation, but also with inflammation that she occasionally experiences in her pancreas. The Yucca is also a great natural pain relief which we also often recommend for joint pain.
